A secure way to spend overseas
With the ANZ Travel Card, you don't have to worry about carrying around large amounts of cash overseas. Each card is issued with a PIN for security, and because it isn't linked with any of your other bank accounts, it offers better protection if your card is lost or stolen. What's more, you have a backup card should your first card be lost or stolen and 24 hour customer support is only a phone call away.

Control your fees
Even on the other side of the world, the ANZ Travel Card offers you the convenience of using your own money at over 24 million Visa locations worldwide. Better yet, when you use it to make purchases in-store or online, there are no transaction fees. Plus, when you use it to withdraw money from Visa ATMs, you'll pay a flat transaction fee in your cards' currency.

ANZ Travel Card
ANZ Travel Card is a pre-paid Visa card available over the counter to both ANZ and non-ANZ customers. It has been specially designed to give you convenient access to your own money - in the currency of your choice - while you're travelling.

Lock-in the exchange rate of your chosen currency.
Purchase an ANZ Travel Card and you can lock in your exchange rate and reload your card with one of the currencies listed below. That way, if the currency of the country you are travelling in is the same as the currency loaded on your card, you will no longer need to worry about fluctuating exchange rates. So, whether you're shopping at a local market or dining in a first-class restaurant, it'll be easier to keep track of how much you're spending.

The ANZ Travel Card also lets you:
Load more than AUD $15,000 of your own funds1.
Choose from six different currencies:
     United States Dollars (USD)
     Euros (EUR)
     Great British Pounds (GBP)
     New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
     Hong Kong Dollars (HKD)
     Canadian Dollars (CAD)
Reload2 using BPAY® (via the internet or telephone) or over the counter at any ANZ Foreign Exchange Centre. The amount of the reload is locked in at the exchange rate applicable on the day we receive your funds from BPAY®.

Surplus funds can be repurchased by ANZ
Surplus funds can be converted back to Australian dollars at any ANZ branch or ANZ Foreign Exchange Centre and re-credited to your account. The exchange rate used is the Bank Buys Travel Card rate that is applicable on the day we receive your closure form (provided there are no disputes or transactions to settle).
